A deep appreciation for the Sierra Nevada mountains and Lake Tahoe traces back to cherished family vacations with her parents and grandparents, who inspired her to explore and value everything this magnificent area offers. She is equally inspired by her great-grandmother and namesake, Jennie Ellsworth Price—the first Sierra Club pioneer woman to hike the Grand Canyon of the Tuolumne, a published journalist, and an avid outdoor photographer—and by her great-grandfather, Robert Martin Price, one of the original founding members of the Sierra Club with John Muir, who built a home in the Lake Tahoe area in 1911.
Drawing on this rich family legacy and her own deep connection to the region, Jennie has called Lake Tahoe home since 2004 and helps clients establish their own connection to this extraordinary landscape.
